The city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates is preparing to host the first-ever Sharjah Literature Festival (SLF) from January 17th to 21st, 2025. The festival will be held under the theme "Emirati Tales Inspire the Future."

The festival is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, and guided by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority. It is organized by the Emirates Publishers Association and the Sharjah Book Authority.
Festival Details
Events will take place at the open area opposite the University City Hall in Sharjah, running daily from 4 PM to 11 PM. The festival will highlight the UAE's rich literary heritage and provide a platform for visitors to engage with leading Emirati writers and publishers.
