Additionally, Sergeant Yahav Maayan, aged 19, from Modi'in, and Sergeant Eliav Astuker, aged 19, from Ashdod, both served in the 931st Battalion, Nahal Brigade.
In the same incident, a reservist officer and another soldier from the 931st Battalion, Nahal Brigade, sustained severe injuries. They were promptly evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and their families have been informed.
