Baloch Yakjehti Committee Honors Baloch Martyrs with Rally in Balochistan
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) organized a rally in Balochistan to honor the sacrifices of Baloch victims of extrajudicial killings. The event took place on a Saturday, starting at Bus Adda Mastung and proceeding to the graveyards of Baloch martyrs. Here, the BYC leadership paid their respects by laying flowers and traditional Balochi chadars on the graves and reciting prayers.
Hundreds of motorcycles and vehicles participated in the rally, with participants displaying banners and placards highlighting the struggles and resilience of the Baloch people. Mahrang Baloch, a BYC organizer, addressed the rally, urging the public to uphold the ideology and struggle of the Baloch martyrs. She, along with ShahJi Sibghatullah, emphasized the need for unity against oppression and injustice.
The rally is part of BYC's campaign to commemorate Baloch Genocide Day, observed annually on January 25. This date marks the 2014 discovery of over 100 mutilated bodies in the Tootak region, believed to be Baloch individuals who disappeared due to actions by Pakistani military and intelligence agencies.
Mahrang Baloch has called for a national gathering at Dalbandin on January 25 to further highlight the plight of the Baloch people.
