Bahadurgarh (Haryana) [India], October 1: Ahead of the Assembly polls in Haryana, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched a strong criticism against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused Modi of favoring billionaires like Ambani and Adani while neglecting the needs of farmers and the poor.

Rahul Gandhi’s Accusations

Rahul Gandhi claimed that while Ambani spends crores on weddings, farmers can only afford weddings by taking on debt. He said, “When the media of Adani and Ambani shows the face of PM on television for 24 hours, you should realize that this is an attack on the constitution.”

He further added, “The amount of money PM Modi will give to Adani and Ambani, the same amount of money we will give to the poor of this country.”

Promises if Congress Comes to Power

Rahul Gandhi promised several measures if Congress comes to power:

  • Reduce gas cylinder prices to Rs 500
  • Deposit Rs 2000 monthly into the accounts of women in Haryana
  • Ensure fair prices for farmers’ produce
  • Fill 2 lakh vacant government job positions
  • Provide plots worth 100 yards and Rs 3.5 lakh for 2-bedroom houses
  • Offer 300 units of free electricity and healthcare insurance worth Rs 25 lakhs

Criticism of BJP

Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of attacking the constitution by favoring billionaires and neglecting the poor. He criticized PM Modi for waiving off loans worth Rs 16 lakh crores for billionaires while ignoring the needs of farmers and students.

He also condemned the three farm laws introduced by PM Modi, claiming they were designed to help Adani and harm farmers.

Voting for all 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana will take place on October 5 from 7 AM to 6 PM.
