On October 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a Rozgar Mela via video conference, emphasizing India’s advancements in technology and investment. He highlighted progress in sectors like space, semiconductors, electronics, and electric vehicles, attributing it to initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and the PLI scheme. Modi noted that these efforts have boosted job creation and positioned India as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem.

He cited the PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana as an example of employment generation, with 2 crore customers registered, 9,000 vendors involved, and plans for 800 solar villages. Modi also mentioned skill development initiatives like Skill India and the Pradhan Mantri Internship Yojana, aiming to provide internships to one crore youth in five years.

Modi discussed international opportunities, noting Germany’s increased visas for skilled Indian youth and agreements with 21 countries for migration and employment. He urged new government recruits to excel and serve the nation, emphasizing the importance of taxpayers and citizens in government roles.

Earlier, Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to youth, reinforcing his commitment to employment generation and nation-building.
