Kalon Trisur Gyalo Thondup Remembered
In Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, the Tibetan Youth Congress organized a prayer session at the main Tibetan temple to honor Kalon Trisur Gyalo Thondup, the elder brother of the 14th Dalai Lama, who passed away on Saturday. The service coincided with his funeral in Kalimpong.

Tenzin Thapchen, an exiled Tibetan woman, expressed her sorrow, noting Thondup's role in the Tibetan freedom struggle and his efforts in coordinating the Dalai Lama's escape to India in 1959.
