Recently, around 100 Pakistanis were sent back to their home country due to immigration and legal issues from six different nations, including Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to reports, Saudi Arabia deported five blacklisted individuals, 13 beggars, and five people who overstayed their visas. Additionally, 16 individuals were expelled for contract violations, and 23 workers who left their jobs were also sent back. Thirteen Pakistanis were deported for working without a sponsor.
Other countries like Oman, Somaliland, and the UAE deported three blacklisted Pakistanis. In Iraq, seven people were deported for illegal residency, and one person was sent back from Canada for overstaying their visa. Nine Pakistanis were released from prison and returned to Pakistan, while one was deported from the UAE for lacking proper documents.
At Karachi Airport, 47 travelers were stopped from boarding flights to 16 countries due to visa and document issues. Among them, three were blacklisted. Two travelers on student visas to the UK, including a woman, were stopped, as well as one on a visitation visa. A traveler on a festival visa to Turkey was offloaded due to lack of connection to the event. Nineteen Umrah pilgrims were denied boarding due to insufficient hotel bookings and expense documentation.
Two individuals with Saudi work visas were offloaded due to blacklist status. Tourists with arrival visas for Liberia and the Maldives were turned away. A passenger with a residency visa to South Africa was offloaded due to missing identification. Two people with Guyana work visas and two with Ghana tourist visas were also stopped. Authorities released four passengers with visas to Tanzania and Malawi, and five more with tourist visas to Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
