Tragic Killings in Balochistan: Hindu Community Members Among Victims

In the Kech district of Balochistan, Pakistan, public safety is under threat due to targeted killings and a weakening law and order situation. On Monday, three individuals, including two members of the Hindu community, were shot by unidentified gunmen in the Turbat and Buleda areas. The victims, identified as Hari Lal and Moti Lal, were killed near the Star Plus market, while Shero Mal was injured. The deceased were from the Sanghar area of Sindh. Police have labeled the incident as a targeted killing, but no group has claimed responsibility. In a separate attack in Buleda, Muhammad Hayat was killed. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the violence and demanded the arrest of the perpetrators. The deteriorating security situation in Pakistan is a growing concern, with rising crime rates, political instability, and terrorism contributing to a sense of insecurity.
