Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gujarat’s Narmada district, where he interacted with young civil servants during the 99th Common Foundation Course, Aarambh 6.0. During his two-day visit, coinciding with Diwali and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, PM Modi launched projects worth over Rs 284 crore in Ekta Nagar. These initiatives aim to boost tourism, improve accessibility, and support sustainability, enhancing the global reputation of the Statue of Unity area.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrations
On Thursday, PM Modi will participate in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, offering a floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event will feature a parade with contingents from various states, Central Armed Police Forces, and special performances, including a ‘Surya Kiran’ flypast by the Indian Air Force.
