He noted a global trend of decreasing young populations, while in India, the capabilities and confidence of the youth are on the rise. "In the world, India is such a country where its students, their mentality, ideas, innovation capacity, and competitiveness are giving India a new ability and energy," Birla said. He encouraged students to actively contribute to India's growth and development.
Awaid Joshi, a student from the University of Law, expressed his inspiration after meeting Birla, noting the impact on increasing access to Indian politics. Another student thanked the High Commission of India and the Government of India for the event.
The event was attended by senior dignitaries, including High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami and Deputy High Commissioner Sujit Ghosh, highlighting its significance. The interaction allowed students to engage with a key Indian leader and discuss perspectives on India's development and global positioning, showcasing the government's commitment to connecting with the Indian diaspora, especially the youth studying abroad.
