Abhimanyu Pawar to Contest Maharashtra Elections on Development Agenda
Abhimanyu Pawar, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Ausa Assembly Constituency in Maharashtra, announced his candidacy for the upcoming elections. He emphasized his focus on development, stating, “Party (BJP) has given me the ticket for the second time and I have filed my nomination. I will contest the elections on a development agenda. We have done several development works in the constituency and will carry this forward.”
Pawar noted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has not yet decided on a candidate to oppose him, but he remains confident that the people will support him due to the ongoing and planned developments in the area.
MVA’s Election Strategy
Ramesh Chennithala, Congress in-charge for Maharashtra, stated that the MVA has filed nominations for all 288 seats. He urged Congress leaders who filed independently to withdraw their nominations, highlighting unity within the MVA compared to the Mahayuti alliance. Chennithala criticized the BJP for allegedly undermining its alliance partners and expressed confidence in the MVA’s ability to form the government.
