The 23rd Zayed Charity Run, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is set to begin at 7:00 am on Saturday from Erth Abu Dhabi. This event will feature over 10,000 runners from various nationalities, with proceeds going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The prize pool is AED1.5 million, equally divided between Emirati and international winners.

The run will start with a 10km race for people of determination, followed by professional and open registration races. The winners' ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 am. Participants include 62% males and 38% females, with the largest groups from the UAE, India, and the Philippines.

Since 2001, the run has raised AED 638 million for humanitarian causes. It has expanded to the US and Egypt, promoting medical research and patient support. Lt. General (Retd.) Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi emphasized the event's global significance and cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
