Faridabad (Haryana) [India], October 2: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami accused the Congress of taking farmers’ lands in Haryana and giving them to big capitalists and Robert Vadra, Congress’s son-in-law, during their rule. Speaking at a public meeting in Faridabad, he urged people to vote for BJP candidate Satish Fagna.

Achievements Under BJP

CM Dhami highlighted the achievements of the Haryana government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership over the past 10 years. He mentioned significant improvements in health, education, and connectivity. The railway budget for Haryana increased from Rs 300 crore to Rs 3000 crore.

Two projects connecting East and West Faridabad have been approved at a cost of Rs 1530 crore. The Faridabad railway station is being modernized, and 50 new electric buses have been introduced.

Welfare Schemes

Dhami emphasized the benefits of various welfare schemes like Garib Kalyan Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Lakhpati Didi. He stated that free gas connections have been provided to 24 lakh families, and gas connections for Rs 500 to 50 lakh people.

Criticism of Congress

Dhami criticized the Congress for corruption, nepotism, and casteism. He claimed that before 2014, jobs in Haryana were not given based on talent but through nepotism and bribery. He accused Congress of distributing farmers’ lands to big capitalists and Robert Vadra.

He warned that if Congress returns to power, corruption and atrocities on women and Dalits will resume. He also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party and JJP as vote-cutting parties and blamed them for Delhi’s pollution.

Upcoming Elections

Haryana will hold elections on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with results announced on October 8. In the 2019 elections, BJP won 40 seats, while Congress secured 30 seats.
