Citizens are advised to stay aware of their surroundings, especially near police buildings, and to avoid large gatherings.

The advisory comes amid a surge in violence against Hindus and other minority groups in Bangladesh. UK MP Priti Patel expressed deep concern over the situation, urging the UK government to engage with Bangladesh to protect lives and prevent violence. She highlighted the arrest of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das and called for his release.
