The Al Sila Marine Festival, under the patronage of Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, has begun its 4th edition at Al Sila Beach, Abu Dhabi. Running from December 4 to December 8, 2024, this event is organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
The festival features a variety of traditional and modern marine competitions, including the Al Sila' 43-ft Dhow Race, Al Sila Sheri Fishing contest, and Barakah Traditional Sailboat Race. Visitors can also enjoy fly-fishing contests, Carrom and Dominoes competitions, a cycling race, beach volleyball, and beach soccer. Additionally, there are various heritage competitions and traditional games.
