UAE and Indonesia Strengthen Ties: High-Level Meetings and Strategic Partnerships
From January 29 to February 1, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, led a delegation to Indonesia. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation between the two nations. Al Mazrouei met with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and conveyed greetings from UAE leaders. Discussions focused on strengthening ties in political, economic, and cultural sectors.
Al Mazrouei also met with Indonesian ministers, including Agus Harimurti and Sri Mulyani, to discuss joint investment projects. A roundtable meeting was held at the Raffles Hotel, attended by representatives from companies like Etihad Airways and Emirates Airlines. The focus was on cooperation in energy, aviation, and education.
The visit concluded with meetings with Indonesian officials like Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, reaffirming the UAE's commitment to economic relations, especially in food security and energy.
