Tragic Accident in Andhra Pradesh: 7 Dead in Lorry Crash Near Devarapalli

A terrible accident happened near Devarapalli village in Andhra Pradesh. A lorry carrying eight people crashed into a canal, leading to the death of seven individuals. The accident occurred at midnight when the driver tried to avoid a pothole, causing the vehicle to go out of control.

According to area DSP Kumar, seven people sitting on top of the lorry died on the spot, while one person was rescued and taken to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased were transferred to Kovvur Government Hospital.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his grief over the accident. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased and directed officials to provide the best medical treatment to the injured. The Chief Minister assured that the government stands by the families of the victims and will provide necessary aid. He also instructed officials to take measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
