Notably, eight of these aircraft crossed the median line, entering Taiwan's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The MND shared this information on X, stating, "12 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today."
In recent weeks, China has been enhancing its military capabilities, particularly for potential beach invasions of Taiwan. This includes the launch of a large landing helicopter assault vessel and the production of floating bridge docks, indicating China's serious intentions regarding Taiwan.
