PTI Skips Fourth Round of Talks with Pakistan Government

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided not to attend the fourth round of talks with the government, which was scheduled for January 28. This decision was announced by PTI leader Omar Ayub, who stated that the party would not participate due to the government's failure to establish a judicial commission, leading to a breakdown in negotiations.

PTI founder Imran Khan had initially decided to negotiate with the government for the 'national interest'. However, the lack of progress on forming a judicial commission has stalled the talks.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had summoned the session for January 28, while the PM's Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, reaffirmed the government's support for dialogue as a means to resolve political issues. He criticized PTI for withdrawing prematurely, suggesting they were not serious about resolving issues through dialogue.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui, part of the government's negotiating team, urged PTI not to abandon the talks, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in a democratic process. He noted that the government took PTI's demands seriously, although no decision has been made regarding the formation of a judicial commission.
