Guided by heritage conservationist and architect Rabindra Puri, Prince Edward was introduced to the Nepal Vocational Academy in Kamalbinayak. Here, he observed young artisans specializing in woodcarving and even attempted carving himself, showing interest in the intricate designs.
Prince Edward arrived in Kathmandu for a private visit and was warmly welcomed by officials. He met with President Ramchandra Paudel to discuss matters of mutual interest. The Duke is set to return to the UK on February 9, concluding his visit to Nepal.
