Key Projects and Developments
The projects include new academic blocks at the Eastern Campus in Surajmal Vihar and the Western Campus in Dwarka. Additionally, the foundation for Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, was laid, focusing on providing state-of-the-art educational facilities.
PM Modi also visited newly constructed flats for Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) cluster residents at Swabhiman Apartments, marking the completion of the second In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project by the Delhi Development Authority. This project aims to offer a healthier living environment with modern amenities.
Urban Redevelopment Initiatives
The Prime Minister inaugurated the World Trade Centre at Nauroji Nagar, replacing over 600 old quarters with modern commercial towers, and the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, featuring eco-friendly designs.
Additionally, the CBSE's Integrated Office Complex in Dwarka was inaugurated, built to high environmental standards. PM Modi also laid the foundation for three new projects at Delhi University, including campuses in Surajmal Vihar and Dwarka, and Veer Savarkar College in Najafgarh.
