President Zelenskyy Condemns Russian Attacks on Ukrainian Cities
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has strongly criticized Russia's recent attacks on Ukrainian cities, describing them as "another wave of terrorist crimes." In a post on X, he detailed the use of missiles, attack drones, and aerial bombs by Russia. The attacks resulted in significant damage, including the destruction of a residential building in Poltava, where ten people were injured and three were killed. Other affected areas include Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv, with additional casualties reported.
Zelenskyy emphasized the urgent need for enhanced air defense support from international allies, stating that every air defense system and interceptor missile could save lives. He urged partners to fulfill agreements and increase pressure on Russia.
Additionally, a Ukrainian military official reported that North Korean forces have likely withdrawn from Russia's Kursk region after suffering heavy losses. Colonel Oleksandr Kindratenko noted that North Korean troops have not been seen on the frontlines for three weeks. Reports indicate that around 12,000 North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia, with approximately 4,000 casualties.
