In a significant operation, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized 23 terrorists in two separate clearance operations in Kalat and Harnai, Balochistan. The operations were part of a series of 'sanitization operations' conducted by the security forces across the province, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan military.
In a related operation, four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This intelligence-based operation took place in the Kaulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan. Additionally, an operation in North Waziristan resulted in the deaths of six TTP terrorists, though it also claimed the lives of Major Hamza Israr and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem from the Pakistan Army.
On the night of January 31 to February 1, 12 terrorists were killed in the Kalat District while attempting to establish roadblocks. This brings the total number of terrorists killed in Balochistan operations to 23. Since December 9, a total of 43 terrorists have been eliminated in intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, dealing a significant blow to terrorist groups like Fitna-Al-Khwarij.
