The Nandamuri family, including actor Jr NTR and TDP leader Nandamuri Balakrishna, gathered at the memorial to pay their respects. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also paid tribute, praising NTR as a humanitarian and reformer who empowered the poor and women.
