Manish Sisodia Meets AAP Volunteers After Release from Tihar Jail
New Delhi [India], August 12: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and Patparganj MLA, Manish Sisodia, held a meeting with volunteers from his Assembly constituency. This was his first meeting with them in 17 months, following his release from Tihar Jail.
During the meeting, Sisodia praised the volunteers for their dedication and efforts in serving the people of Patparganj during his absence. He expressed confidence that they would overcome the current crisis and form a government with a huge majority under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, forfeiting the deposits of BJP candidates.
On the same day, Sisodia also convened a high-level meeting at his residence with senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Sandeep Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai, National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, and Ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. The meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak confirmed that further meetings would be held with all MLAs on Monday, followed by a meeting with councillors. Additionally, Sisodia will meet the people of Delhi through a padayatra on August 14.
