Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 10: Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has called for proper action against those responsible after a speeding luxury car owned by his son, Sanket Bawankule, allegedly hit several vehicles in Nagpur's Ramdaspeth area.
On Monday, the car, driven by Arjun Haware with Ronit Chintanwar as a passenger, caused damage to multiple vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. Bawankule emphasized that justice should be equal for all, regardless of political connections.
The Sitabuldi police have registered a case of rash driving against Arjun Haware and Ronit Chintanwar. Bawankule reiterated that the police should conduct a fair investigation and take appropriate action against the guilty parties.
The Maharashtra Congress posted a video of the incident on social media, alleging that efforts were made to protect the BJP leader's son. The Sitabuldi police station is currently investigating the matter.
