Mahakumbh Mela 2025: A Grand Spiritual Gathering in Prayagraj
Prayagraj, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India, is buzzing with spiritual excitement as the Mahakumbh Mela approaches. Arrival of Sadhus and Saints
Sadhus from the Mahanirvani Akhara have arrived, dressed in saffron and ashes, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the Damaru drum. The Atal Akhara saints also made a grand entrance, welcomed with garlands by police officials. Other major akhadas like Niranjani, Ahwan, and Juna have also reached the campsite.

Vishwasanand Saraswati, Acharya of Atal Akhada, encouraged everyone to visit the Kumbh Mela to witness unity. Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj praised the arrangements made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, noting improvements since the 2019 Mela.
Government Preparations
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Minister JPS Rathore assured that Prayagraj is ready to host over 45 crore devotees. The event is equipped with advanced technology, including underwater drones and 2,700 AI-enabled cameras for security.

The Culture Department will set up 20 stages across Prayagraj, showcasing India's diverse cultural heritage through folk dances from various states.
