She also met Simon Mordue, Deputy Secretary-General at the European External Action Service, to focus on bilateral cooperation and developments in the Middle East and Ukraine. Discussions with EU Special Representatives Luigi Di Maio and Annette Weber centered on the Gulf, Sudan, and regional stability.
Nusseibeh engaged with several European Parliament members on regional developments and economic cooperation. A meeting with Sabine Weyand, Director-General for Trade at the European Commission, focused on enhancing trade relations. She also reviewed economic, financial, and judicial cooperation with the European Commission's Financial Stability and Financial Services.
Additionally, Nusseibeh spoke at the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation's High-Level Dialogue on 'Peacemaking Efforts and Shrinking Diplomatic Space', sharing insights from the UAE's experience as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and exploring opportunities for closer EU-UAE cooperation in peace and security.
