Israel Defense Forces' Operation Iron Wall in West Bank
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the elimination of 50 Palestinian terrorists since the start of their offensive in the northern West Bank. This operation, known as 'Operation Iron Wall,' began on January 21. The IDF stated that 35 gunmen were killed in areas like Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tamun, while 15 others were killed in drone strikes. However, the IDF admitted to mistakenly targeting civilians, including a toddler, during these operations.
In addition to the casualties, the IDF has detained 100 Palestinian terrorists, confiscated over 40 weapons, and neutralized more than 80 explosives. The military has also demolished 23 buildings in the Jenin refugee camps, claiming they were used by terrorists.
