The L'Etape Dubai by Tour de France, the world's largest amateur cycling series, made its debut in the UAE, attracting over 1,000 cycling enthusiasts. The event, held on February 2nd, featured a 101 km race starting from Dubai Design District (D3) and ending at Expo Village Park.

Syrian national Ibrahiem Alrefai claimed victory with a time of 02:17:24, followed by Ivan Kormshchikov and Danil Konotop. The female winner was Olha Shekel, completing the race in 02:20:20, with Ebtissam Zayed and Olivuja Balesisyte finishing second and third, respectively.
