New Delhi, India - Members of Indonesia's military contingent are thrilled to participate in India's Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path. Brigadier Kristomei, Deputy Commander of the Indonesian Military Academy, leads the 352-member marching and band contingent. He expressed gratitude to the Indian government for the invitation, noting that for many, it's their first visit to India.
Indonesian President as Chief Guest
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the chief guest at the parade. This marks the first time an Indonesian contingent participates in a national day parade abroad. Second Sergeant Major Cadet Tasya Putri, leading the marching bands, hopes their presence will strengthen India-Indonesia cooperation.

President Prabowo's four-day visit includes meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussions on bilateral ties, regional and global issues.
