On November 27, Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Vikram Doraiswami, announced that the UK government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, is prepared to restart Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations with India. This follows a bilateral meeting between Starmer and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 Summit in Brazil. Doraiswami emphasized that the FTA is an ongoing process, with the UK completing its internal review in July.

Yadav's visit focuses on leveraging the UK's strengths in education, technology, and the IT sector to benefit Madhya Pradesh.
