A High Commissioner is like an ambassador, but for countries that are part of the Commonwealth, a group of countries that were once part of the British Empire. Pranay Verma is India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, meaning he represents India in Bangladesh.
Trade connectivity means how easily and efficiently two countries can trade goods and services with each other. It involves things like transportation, communication, and agreements that make trading easier.
Textile leaders are important people in the textile industry, which involves making clothes and fabrics. In Bangladesh, this industry is very big and important for the country's economy.
Bharat Tex 2025 is an event that will happen in New Delhi, India, focusing on the textile industry. It will be a place where people from the textile industry can meet, share ideas, and make business deals.
Ready-made garments are clothes that are made in factories and sold in stores, ready for people to wear. Bangladesh is one of the largest producers of these garments in the world.
Supply chain linkages refer to the connections between different steps in making and delivering a product, from raw materials to the finished product. Strong linkages mean that these steps work well together, making the process faster and cheaper.
