Massive Participation
As of 8 am on Monday, over 6.22 million devotees had taken a holy dip. Since the start of the Maha Kumbh Mela on January 13, more than 349.7 million devotees have participated. The number of Kalpwasis, who observe month-long spiritual practices, has exceeded 1 million.
Prayagraj saw a massive influx of devotees on Basant Panchami, with thousands taking a holy dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
