Upcoming Elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra

The first phase of assembly polls in Jharkhand is set to begin, with 43 out of 81 seats up for election. Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for allegedly disrespecting Champai Soren, a loyal supporter. Meanwhile, PM Modi held rallies in Ranchi, Bokaro, and Gumla, criticizing Congress and its allies for attempting to divide communities.

Maharashtra Assembly Elections

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with results to be announced on November 23. The opposition MVA coalition, including Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and the Nationalist Congress Party, is challenging the Mahayuti alliance, which consists of the BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
