Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Holds Roadshow in Ladwa with BJP MP Hema Malini

On October 2, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini held a roadshow in Ladwa ahead of the state assembly elections. The event was also attended by BJP MP Hema Malini. Saini, who is a candidate from the Ladwa assembly constituency, expressed confidence that the BJP will win a third term in Haryana.

During the roadshow, Saini criticized Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, for his ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ slogan, calling it a ‘Jhooth ki Dukaan’ (shop of lies). Saini stated, ‘The BJP government is coming to power in Haryana for the third time with a very big majority. Today, the scenario of the entire Haryana is in favour of the BJP, in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi… Rahul Gandhi has opened a shop of lies. He starts lying in the morning and continues lying till the evening. People have stopped believing him.’

Earlier, at an election rally in Palwal, Saini said that Haryana will make history by electing a BJP government for a third consecutive term. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also criticized the Congress party, accusing it of being against the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and not fully implementing the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. He described Congress as the ‘biggest anti-Dalit party’ and claimed it plans to end reservations, using Haryana as a ‘test state.’

The 90 assembly seats of Haryana will go to polls on October 5. In the last elections, BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 40 seats, while Congress won 30 seats.

Security has been tightened in Haryana ahead of the elections, with 225 paramilitary companies and 60,000 security personnel deployed. According to DGP Haryana, Shatrujeet Kapoor, 11,000 Special Police Officers (SPOs) are also stationed. Kapoor mentioned that the highest amount of money was recovered in Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ambala, totaling over 60 crore rupees. The Nuh area has been identified as highly sensitive, with 13 paramilitary companies deployed there. Recently, Haryana police seized 27,000 litres of liquor and uncovered a fake liquor factory.

The Chief Electoral Officer has instructed that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) must be securely stored in strong rooms before polling and transported with adequate security measures. Vehicles carrying EVMs should not stop during transit and must be equipped with GPS for security purposes.
