Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Samman Event in Prayagraj
Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Indian Constitution
The second regional event of the ‘Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Samman’ campaign will take place on July 16, 2024, at the Allahabad Medical Association Convention Centre in Prayagraj. This event is part of the year-long celebration organized under the Designing Innovative solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) scheme by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India.

Special Guests
The event will be attended by Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Arun Ram Meghwal, and Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Justice Arun Bhansali.
Participants
Approximately 800 participants, including advocates, government counsels, judicial officers, village-level entrepreneurs, law students, and senior officials, will attend the event in person. Many citizens and stakeholders will also join digitally.
Background
The ‘Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Samman’ campaign was inaugurated by the Vice-President of India on January 24, 2024, at the Dr BR Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The first regional event was held in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on March 9, 2024, inaugurated by Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud.
