In a significant humanitarian effort, three Emirati convoys have successfully delivered essential aid to the Gaza Strip. These convoys, part of the UAE's 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3', crossed into Gaza through Egypt's Rafah Border Crossing. The aid included 35 trucks carrying over 248.9 tonnes of supplies, with more than 100 tonnes dedicated to medical needs.
The medical supplies included crucial equipment such as dialysis machines, ultrasound devices, resuscitation sets, wheelchairs, and respiratory masks. Additionally, the convoys brought various medications and medical consumables. Beyond medical aid, the shipments included food supplies, shelter tents, flour, and other necessities.
To date, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has sent 153 aid convoys to Gaza, totaling 2,391 trucks and over 29,274 tonnes of aid. This initiative has played a vital role in alleviating the hardships faced by Gazans, especially the most vulnerable groups.
