The CBUAE Running Race took place on February 3, 2025, at Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The event was held under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE. It was organized in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Over 7,000 participants, including CBUAE employees, financial sector professionals, community members, and People of Determination, joined the race. The event featured various race distances: 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km, catering to both professional and amateur runners. Additionally, interactive sports and recreational activities were available for the community.
Governor Khaled Mohamed Balama signaled the start of the race, with notable attendees including Khalil Mohammed Foulathi, former Chairman of the Central Bank, and Aref Al Awani, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The Governor awarded the top three winners in each race category and expressed gratitude to Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their support.
