The threat was communicated to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka through an anonymous phone call. Group Captain Kamrul Islam, the Airport Executive Director, confirmed the incident to reporters.
The flight, identified as BG-356, was forced to make an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal Airport at 9:20 am. All 250 passengers and 13 crew members were safely evacuated and taken to the terminal.
