Big Fire in Ghaziabad: Shops and Factory Affected

A large fire broke out in four shops on Tuesday in Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to control the blaze.

On Monday, a similar incident occurred at an oil and chemical factory near the Muradnagar Canal bridge on Delhi-Meerut Road. The fire started in an industrial unit on the ground floor of a 2000 square meter plot in Pawanpuri Industrial Area, near Yusufpur-Manota village. Drums of edible oil and chemicals exploded, causing the tin shed roofs and boundary walls to collapse. The fire then spread to a nearby cardboard factory on an adjacent plot. Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the flames by laying hose pipes from the main gate.
