Assam Chief Minister Promotes Advantage Assam 2.0 in Singapore
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently addressed over 200 business leaders at the Singapore Roadshow. The event was organized to promote the 'Advantage Assam 2.0 - Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025,' which will take place on February 25-26 in Guwahati.
During the roadshow, Chief Minister Sarma personally invited investors to explore the opportunities in Assam. He highlighted Assam's unique advantages, such as its strategic location, single-window clearance system, tailored incentives, strong law and order, and disciplined workforce.
Chief Minister Sarma also met with Singapore's President, H E Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H E Vivian Balakrishnan, to discuss strengthening ties between Assam and Singapore. These discussions aim to further the Indo-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and India's Act East Policy.
