Rory Mungoven emphasized the need for justice for human rights violations, noting that extradition is a bilateral process. He also highlighted concerns about the death penalty if due process is not respected. On February 8, Bangladesh launched "Operation Devil Hunt" to address clashes between anti-Hasina student groups and local people, aiming to restore law and order.
