AD Ports Group Completes Major Restructuring
On December 25, AD Ports Group announced the completion of a significant restructuring, integrating the assets of the Noatum Group into its business. Noatum, based in Barcelona, is a global logistics provider with operations in 32 countries and 16 terminals in Spain. This integration aims to enhance AD Ports Group's international expansion strategy by leveraging Noatum's brand and expertise.
New Business Structure
Noatum's corporate head office in Spain has been incorporated into AD Ports Group's business verticals. The Maritime unit of Noatum is now part of SAFEEN Group, renamed Noatum Maritime. Noatum Terminals has become part of Noatum Ports, managing AD Ports Group's port operations. Noatum Logistics took over AD Ports Group's Logistics Cluster in July 2023.
Growth and Expansion
The restructuring has increased AD Ports Group's efficiency, supporting its growth strategy. The Group has expanded to 33 terminals in over 50 countries. Acquisitions like Noatum and Global Feeder Shipping have tripled revenue since 2021. AD Ports Group is now among the world's top 20 container port operators.
