In an impressive display of skill, Indian archer Vaishnavi Pawar helped her team secure a silver medal in the recurve U-18 women’s team category at the 2024 Asian Youth Archery Championship held in Taipei City. The Indian team, which included Pranjal Tholiya and Jannat, overcame a strong South Korean team in the semi-finals through a shoot-off.

Despite a challenging final against the host team, India fought back from a 2-4 deficit to force another shoot-off, ultimately earning the silver medal. Vaishnavi expressed her pride in representing India and acknowledged the support from the Punit Balan Group, which has been crucial in her journey.
