Meanwhile, President Zelenskyy reported on a devastating attack in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy. A Russian drone strike destroyed a residential building, resulting in the deaths of nine people and injuring thirteen others, including a child. Zelenskyy expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and assured that all necessary assistance is being provided to those affected.
He stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen defenses to ensure peace and protect lives from such threats.
