Abu Dhabi [UAE], September 7: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), who is on a working visit to the UAE. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, aiming to promote development and prosperity in both countries. They focused on sectors such as development, economy, trade, investment, and renewable energy. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his hope that the visit would strengthen relations between the two countries and conveyed his wishes for continued peace and growth for DRC. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to working with African nations to promote development and stability.

President Tshisekedi appreciated the UAE’s cooperation with DRC and its humanitarian initiatives in Africa. Key UAE officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, attended the meeting.
