In the Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana, a significant incident of bribery has come to light. The Principal and an attender of the Telangana Minority Residential Boys School in Yellandu were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe.
The Principal, Bheemanapalli Krishna, and the attender, Kotcherla Rama Krishna, were apprehended on Thursday morning. The arrest occurred around 9:33 AM, following a complaint that the Principal had threatened to withhold salary bills unless a bribe of Rs 2,000 was paid.
A chemical test was conducted on the attender's right-hand finger and the inner flap of his pants pocket, both yielding positive results for the bribe. The bribe amount was recovered from Kotcherla Rama Krishna. Both individuals were arrested and presented in court, with further investigations underway.
