A conflict erupted in Udaipur, Rajasthan, after a disagreement over a ramp built outside a house. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Dabok Police Station. The situation escalated when a police report was filed, leading to violent clashes between locals.

Details of the Incident

Yogesh Goyal, the Superintendent of Police in Udaipur, explained that the trouble began when Satyanarayan Sharma, a local resident, constructed a ramp outside his house. He placed stones around it to protect it from damage by passing vehicles. A truck driver attempted to move his truck near the ramp, sparking a dispute over the stones.

The altercation, which initially went unreported, took a serious turn when Sharma's daughter filed a police report citing eve teasing and hooliganism. Following this, stone pelting began at Azad's house, and the police, who arrived to manage the situation, were attacked.

Police Response

Several police vehicles were damaged, and some officers were injured during the clash. Goyal confirmed that the police detained 7-8 young suspects believed to be involved in the stone pelting. Motorcycles were seized, and a report is being filed against the accused for damaging police vehicles and stone pelting.

Goyal assured that the situation is now under control, and the police are taking strict action against those responsible for the violence. He stated, "Right now, the situation is peaceful, and the police force is in control."
