Allegations of Corrupt Practices
Bharti claims that Raaj Kumar Anand, who was initially a minister in the AAP government, was pressured by investigative agencies to resign and later joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) to split votes in favor of Bansuri Swaraj. Anand eventually joined the BJP, confirming Bharti’s suspicions.

The election was held on May 25, 2024, and the results were declared on June 4, 2024. Bharti secured 3,74,815 votes, while Swaraj won with 4,53,185 votes. Anand, who contested from BSP, received 5,629 votes.
